Program Overview: The Edulife Program is a dynamic and inclusive educational platform committed to empowering youth, refugees, persons with disabilities, vulnerable girls, boys and women. Through tailored learning and service opportunities, Edulife aims to not only transform individual lives but to revitalize entire communities with the power of knowledge, leadership and civic engagement.

Join us as the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at UWC, in collaboration with the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research & Innovation and the Pilgrim Center for Reconciliation-Uganda, presents study opportunities in South Africa at the University of the Western Cape a globally ranked research led institution with a strong African footprint.

Available Scholarships:
• Undergraduate degrees (for applicants up to age 26)
• Master’s degrees (for applicants up to age 30)
• Open to all African youth with special emphasis on refugees, persons with disabilities, and those facing significant economic and social barriers
• Full comprehensive scholarship covering tuition, accommodation, monthly stipend, meal allowance, laptop, and study materials.

Holistic Support: The program provides a holistic wrap-around support programmes designed to ensure scholars successfully transition to dignified and fulfilling work or entrepreneurship, including leadership development, internships, and entrepreneurial training.
